## Summary

The Crown Commercial Service is seeking a supplier to conduct an evaluation of the impact and implementation of vulnerability training for frontline police officers and staff under the contract titled "Vulnerability Training Evaluation Research." This project falls within the research and development services sector and is located in the United Kingdom. The procurement process was initiated as a selective tender, and the contract period runs from 22 May 2017 to 30 April 2018. The tender period closed on 28 April 2017.

This opportunity could foster business growth for firms that possess expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, particularly in the context of public sector training evaluations. Businesses with a background in mixed methods evaluations, especially those familiar with policing or response policing, would be well-positioned to compete. The successful contractor will also need to demonstrate the ability to produce clear, concise reports within tight deadlines, making this opportunity ideal for established research consultancies with relevant experience.

## Notice

The College of Policing is looking to appoint a Potential Supplier to evaluate the impact and implementation of a pilot of vulnerability training for frontline officers and staff. The successful Contractor will have specialist research skills including quantitative and qualitative methods, and an excellent track record in mixed methods evaluations of training and preferably randomised controlled trials. The Potential Supplier should show evidence of having a good understanding of policing and in particular response policing. In addition, they will have a good track record in the production of clearly written and concise reports and of working to tight timescales.
