## Summary

The NHS Luton Clinical Commissioning Group has initiated a tender titled "Primary Care Extended Access for Luton," which falls under the health services industry in the East of England. This procurement process is currently in the Award stage, with an estimated contract value of £1,700,000. The contract period is set to commence on 1st September 2018 and will run until 31st March 2020. The procurement method employed is an open procedure above the threshold, and the tender period ended on 1st June 2018.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses focused on health service provision, particularly those operating within the primary care sector. Companies that specialise in providing general practice services, including extending access hours and enhancing service delivery through digital approaches, would be particularly well-suited to compete in this tender. Given the emphasis on collaboration with GP practices, larger healthcare organisations and SMEs alike could find significant growth prospects through participation in this initiative aimed at improving patient access to healthcare services in Luton.
