## Summary

Nottinghamshire County Council is inviting tenders for the "Careers Local Enterprise Grant Provider Framework," aimed at providing employability and enterprise activities to young people aged 15-19 at risk of being NEET in the D2N2 area. This procurement falls under the education and training services category and is currently in the tender stage, with submissions due by 11 January 2017. The total value of this contract amounts to £1,574,000, and it will be executed through an open procurement method, allowing a diverse range of providers to participate. The framework is intended to appoint between 6 to 12 providers who demonstrate qualifications and relevance across Derby City, Derbyshire, Nottingham City, and Nottinghamshire.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses focused on youth engagement, particularly those providing services in employability training, enterprise skills development, and educational staff training. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are particularly encouraged to apply, as there is a clear emphasis on achieving creative engagement strategies with disaffected young people. Businesses with experience in delivering educational programmes or those with innovative practices to motivate youth will find this tender well-suited for their capabilities.
