The exact scale of the scheme will be determined by the tender process but we anticipate a scheme with 500+ cycles over 50+ docking stations across Leicester (which may be dependent on the type and spec of bikes). It is anticipated that the contract will run for an initial period of 5 years from the Contract Commencement Date with the option to extend (with extension anticipated to be in the form of two further two-year periods but subject to future available funding) to a maximum of 10 years total, subject to satisfactory performance by the Operator.
