## Summary

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS), representing the Cabinet Office, is initiating a two-stage design competition titled "Queen Elizabeth II National Memorial Masterplan Design Competition," focusing on the architectural, construction, and engineering sectors. The competition utilises a restricted procedure compliant with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, aiming to award a services contract for creating design services for the memorial. Key dates include the tender period ending on 20 January 2025 and the contract period from 16 June 2025 to 15 September 2026. The project, valued at £3,000,000, will be executed within the United Kingdom, with particular emphasis on St James's Park in London.

This tender presents significant business opportunities for multidisciplinary creative teams, including architects, artists, landscape architects, and engineers. Companies specialising in construction, horticultural services, and recreational facilities would find this tender particularly advantageous. SMEs and VCSEs are encouraged to participate, provided they meet the Cyber Essentials security requirements. The collaboration needed for this project offers businesses a platform to showcase their expertise in designing landmark memorials, potentially leading to further prestigious commissions in the future.
