Further works include the installation of a new fire alarm panel, smoke ventilation systems, hose reel units, and assessment of existing compartmentation and fire doors in use. Alongside the fire safety improvements in both blocks, upgrades to the lighting within the Phoenix building to a more sustainable LED solution is required. A constructor has been appointed for the design and build of the project. This is a two stage Design and Build Contract let under the PPC2000 (Amended 2013) Form of contract.
