The council have recently secured Public Sectors Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) funding for three sites. *The Palace Theatre *Orbital Community Centre *Harebreaks Community Centre Each site has specific decarbonisation goals, including the installation of air-source heat pumps and upgrades to mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) and BMS systems. These upgrades are essential for transitioning to sustainable energy solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance and meeting the unique needs of each location. The community centres are standalone buildings, the works required for these will be developed to a RIBA Stage 4 by the M&E consultant in order to issue out to tender.
