## Summary

The public procurement process titled "International Supplier Market Engagement" was initiated by Ofwat, a regulatory authority for the water sector in England, with its headquarters located in Birmingham. The procurement relates to technical testing, analysis, and consultancy services, specifically in analysing the international supply chain for operations and maintenance in the water infrastructure sector. The process is guided through a selective procurement method, utilising a call-off from a framework agreement. This contract is targeted for delivery in multiple regions, including the West Midlands and London in the UK, as well as several European countries such as Spain, Austria, and Germany. The procurement stage is at award, with the award dated 30th April 2026 and published on 6th May 2026. The contract commenced on 1st May 2026 and will conclude on 30th June 2026.

This tender provides significant opportunities for businesses aiming to engage with the UK water infrastructure sector, specifically those that can provide expertise in international supply chains. Companies with strong capabilities in technical consultancy and market engagement in operations and maintenance would benefit from competing. The procurement is well-suited for small and medium-sized enterprises, enhancing their potential to collaborate internationally and expand their reach. With a contract value of £35,000, excluding VAT, it offers a financial incentive for participation, especially for those involved in water summit activities and strategic consulting in the specified regions.
