## Summary

The Tower Hamlets Council is currently engaged in the procurement process for a framework agreement titled "HAC5398 Domiciliary and Personal Care: Northwest Quadrant." This initiative seeks to appoint a single Domiciliary Care Provider for the provision of domiciliary and personal care services to adults aged 18 and over in the North West of the Borough. The procurement method used is selective, specifically a restricted procedure, and the tender period concluded on 2nd November 2018. The framework will last for an initial 12 months from 26th February 2019, with the possibility of extending for up to an additional 24 months, culminating in February 2022. The total estimated value of this contract is £2,100,000, and the relevant services fall under the health and social work category.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for SMEs and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSE) looking to expand their market presence in the health and social care sector. Interested businesses capable of providing domiciliary care services are encouraged to participate, especially those with experience in spot purchasing agreements. Prospective suppliers would benefit from understanding the council's requirements and preparing to meet the standard contractual terms, as the framework will utilise individual purchase orders for service contracts. Engaging in this tender could lead to increased business growth, particularly for providers well-versed in delivering personalised care solutions in the community.
