This project focuses on the research and development of a potential EdTech Teacher Status within the education sector, aimed at enhancing teaching methodologies through technology. This EdTech Teacher Status scoping exercise will explore: 1. To what extent there is a need and or value in the sector to recognise practitioners who have redefined their pedagogic approaches to enhance Teaching, Learning and Assessment with new technologies and award them with an EdTech Teacher status; 2. To what extend such a status would strengthen the sector EdTech support framework; 3. What form the EdTech Teacher Status should take (add-on option to QTLS-ATS, Expertise status, etc.); 4. What the programme for an EdTech Teacher Status might look like including preferred modes of delivery, potential programme structure and duration in terms of guided learning hours; 5. How much participants would pay for an EdTech Teacher Status 6.
