The High Voltage network operates at 66000 Volts and transmission around site is via oil filled cables. The oil in the cables is maintained at a pressure in order to maintain the integrity of the insulating materials within the cables. The pressure in the cables is monitored weekly, if a drop in pressure is identified then the cable is re-pressurised with new oil. Full tender documents are available upon request via the portal.
