## Summary

The Home Office is conducting a tender titled "Piloting Devolved Decision Making for Child Victims of Modern Slavery" aimed at granting funding to local authorities responsible for children's social care in the UK. The total available grant funding is up to £500,000, intended to support a maximum of 10 projects during the contract period from 1 January 2021 to 31 January 2022. The tender period ends on 14 December 2020 at 10:00 AM, and interested parties must register on the Home Office's eSourcing portal to submit a single bid, either individually or as part of a joint bid. The procurement method is categorised as "Other - Competition" within the services sector, specifically focusing on welfare services for children and young people.

This funding opportunity presents a significant chance for local authorities and organisations focusing on child welfare and safeguarding to enhance their programmes aimed at modern slavery victims. Eligible applicants would typically include local governments and partnerships within children's social care, particularly those with experience in safeguarding and rehabilitative services. By applying for this grant, these entities can amplify their impact in addressing crucial social issues, thereby contributing to their operational growth and community welfare.
