This includes Oak timber for the annual hardwood auction (up to 1000m3 per year) as well as firewood from the breakdown of Oak crowns. This also includes felling up to 600m3 per year large pole length Douglas Fir, as well as the associated chipwood. The Oak and Douglas Fir are to be brought to roadside as pole lengths for customers to pick up, with the firewood and chip to be cut at specified lengths and stacked at roadside. The South District will be geographically split into three separate lots for this tender: 1. Western blocks of New Forest, Dorset and Solent Mainland. 2. Eastern blocks of Micheldever, Chiddingfold and South Downs. 3. Isle of Wight blocks.
