## Notice

Cambridgeshire County Council is exploring soluntions to digitise its parish register archives and to make these available to the public via a hosted on-line service. The Council is wishing to invite expressions of interest from potential providers. We are looking for a solution/provider that will: - Provide colour digital images of each page in each supplied register up to 1900. Exact number of pages to be scanned is estimated to be 477,000. - Provide master images to be high quality JPEG. - Copyright in images to remain with Cambridgeshire County Council. - Provide an on-line platform to enable public access to the parish registers with the ability to purchase images via secure transaction methods. - Provide an income opportunity for the Council. Potential providers who wish to express an interest should read and complete the expression of interest questionnaire.
