The successful bidder will have the chance to enhance local healthcare delivery and address community needs, while contributing to overall service quality and patient satisfaction in the region. ## Notice NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU on behalf of NHS England and Improvement - Midlands and Coventry and Warwickshire CCG under fully delegated commissioning arrangements (referred to as the Commissioners) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver Primary Care Medical Services for a new GP practice in North Nuneaton. The Commissioners are seeking to identify a provider(s) who will deliver GP Services under an Alternative Primary Medical Services (APMS) contract. As this is a new service the patient list will be starting from zero and it is predicted that the list size will grow to approximately 10,000 through to 2031, due to a housing development in the Weddington area. The new practice will initially be located at an interim site and these premises are to be used by the Contractor or any sub-contractor for the provision of services, until the development of a new building is complete. The Practice will operate for core hours only and will be open between 8.00am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. As a result of this procurement exercise an agreement will be established with the successful bidder(s) for a period of 8 years with the Commissioners having the option to extend for up to an additional 7 years (maximum contract duration 15 years). The new contract is due to commence on 1st April 2022. The contract value will be based on the nationally agreed GMS Global Sum per weighted patient (less Out of Hours deduction). Additional income can be earned from the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) payment and Enhanced Services Payments. The successful Bidder will need to demonstrate that they can deliver services of a continuously high-quality and will be responsive to the needs of the local population. The service must be GP led and provided by GPs, supported by nurses and other clinical professionals or healthcare workers throughout core hours.
