The package covers approximately 3.5 kilometres of retaining walls across multiple locations in Essex and Kent, supporting the new road connection between the two counties. Work includes design and checking, support for Approval in Principle and design development, internal stability assessments, component manufacture and supply, BIM or 3D modelling where applicable, temporary works, delivery and installation. SMEs may participate independently or within a wider supply chain. ## Notice Concrete & Polymer Reinforced Crib Walls - Design, Supply & Install We are inviting expressions of interest from experienced suppliers to undertake the design, manufacture, supply and installation of concrete and/or polymer reinforced crib wall retaining structures as part of the Lower Thames Crossing Roads North programme. The package comprises approximately 3.5km of crib wall retaining structures across multiple locations. Suppliers will support the development of practical, buildable and cost-effective solutions that integrate with the wider scheme design. Package Scope The package includes: Design and design checking of crib wall systems. Support to Approval in Principle (AiP) and design development. Internal stability assessments and coordination with project stakeholders. Manufacture and supply of crib wall components. BIM and/or 3D modelling where applicable. Temporary works design and management. Delivery and installation of crib wall systems. Coordination of drainage, foundation and geotechnical interfaces. Quality assurance, inspection, testing and handover documentation.
