## Notice

Hythe and Dibden Parish Council are seeking tenders for the supply of a new John Deere X950R c/w 54" mowing deck and 650 litre high tip collector (or a similar type of mower). The ride on mower will be predominantly used for maintenance work on the Parish Council's Public Open Spaces and therefore should be supplied with suitable tyres, suitable warning beacons, road registration and number plate The new ride on mower is required to travel on and work adjacent to the public highway and as such should be fully road legal and complaint with the Chapter 8 Traffic Safety Measures and Signs for Road Works and Temporary Situations section 5 Road Markings. Additional information: The contractor will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of delivering machinery of a similar nature on budget and on time. The applicant must also be able to provide the Council with written assurances regarding the time to provide spare or replacement parts. Contract Summary. The applicant is required to provide value for money. III. Hythe and Dibden Parish Council do not bind itself to accept any tender. The Council reserves the right to delete any items from the tender should the tender exceed the budget. No payment will be made in respect of any expense incurred by the tenderers in submitting a tender. IV. Tenderers should note that prices enter in the Tender would remain fixed for the duration of the project. V.Tenders should be sent to The Clerk to the Council, Hythe and Dibden Parish Council, The Grove 25 St Johns Street, Hythe Southampton, SO45 6BZ in a sealed envelope or package marked Ride on Mower. The envelope should not have any company identification. VI. Results of the tender process will be present to Council. All information requested in the contractor's details must be returned within the tender.
