The ownership records include: 2,700 operational assets, occupied / directly managed by the Council; 860 "indirect" assets - let to other parties but not for investment purposes (eg assets let to community groups and organisations offering services on the Council's behalf); 700 Investment assets (let to other parties for commercial purposes that provide commercial rents to the Council); 2,000 Infrastructure assets (ie highways, footpaths, cycleways, highway verges and docks infrastructure).
