As the body responsible for designating national landscapes, Natural England welcomes the development of new forms of landscape recognition that add value to and complement existing National Parks and AONBs. To help plan for future landscape conservation, enhancement and creation we are committed to developing a robust, evidence-based approach for identifying places that would gain most benefit from a positive landscape intervention.
