This will be an outright purchase of Capital equipment with a requirement from Suppliers to complete a servicing and maintenance schedule. The Supplier will be required to supply and install a toothbrush manufacturing machine, consisting a toothbrush injection mould tool capable of producing a minimum of one million toothbrushes per year and pack them in cartons of 1000 based on a standard 32 hour week of operation. Public Sector Prison Industries equipment is generally operational for 8 hours per day, 50 weeks per year, resulting in approximately 2,000 hours of production time per annum. Interested Suppliers will be required to attend a mandatory site visit at HM Prison Garth to enable them to measure, design and provide equipment which fits in the space to be utilised by the equipment.
