## Summary

The Department for Education (DfE) is planning a procurement process for a training programme entitled "Personal Impact Training." This initiative aims to foster the development of women in the pipeline to Senior Civil Service roles, contributing to diversity and regional representation. The procurement stage is currently in planning, with the anticipated formal procurement exercise scheduled to commence in May 2020, aiming for a contract award by July 2020. The training will be conducted across six locations in England: London, Sheffield, Manchester, Darlington, Nottingham, and Coventry, covering 30 sessions throughout the 2020-2021 financial year. The estimated value of this contract is £90,000 and is classified under training services (CPV 80500000).

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those specialising in training and development, to engage with the public sector. Firms with expertise in delivering personal impact and communications training, especially those with experience working with large organisations, would be well-suited to compete. Additionally, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as voluntary, community, and social enterprises, are encouraged to participate, as the DfE seeks to establish a diverse supplier base. Interested suppliers should register on the specified platform and express their interest to stay informed about the forthcoming procurement process.
