## Summary

The procurement process for the "Wellbeing Coaching" project has been overseen by Blackpool Council. This initiative, classified under miscellaneous services (CPV 98300000), is a joint effort funded by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Department of Health (DoH). The contract, valued at GBP 32,400, was awarded through a competitive quotation process to Lancashire Mind Limited, an SME and VCSE. The programme targets individuals in Blackpool and surrounding areas who require support to start, return to, or sustain employment despite health challenges. The contract period runs from 1st December 2024 to 31st March 2026, following the tender completion on 27th September 2024.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in health and wellbeing services, particularly those with experience in early intervention and support for physical and mental health issues. The project focuses on providing low-intensity support to help individuals with health conditions remain in or return to work. SMEs and VCSEs with expertise in delivering tailored coaching and support services are well-positioned to benefit from this contract, which promises to enhance the workforce's wellbeing in the North West region of England.
