## Summary

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has awarded a contract for the Green Urban Growth (GUG) Programme in Somalia to DT Global International Development UK LTD. This contract, valued at up to £25,000,000, was finalised on 6th January 2025 and will run until 31st July 2030, with potential extensions and additional funding options. The programme falls under the industry category of "Provision of services to the community" and includes the delivery of urban planning solutions to enhance resilience against climate change in Somali cities, with possible contributions from other donors.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in urban development, climate-resilient infrastructure, and community services. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs), are encouraged to participate, especially those capable of developing climate-resilient projects and mobilising finance for sustainable growth. The procurement process was selective, involving a call-off from a framework agreement, and the programme’s focus on fostering inclusive, green economic opportunities makes it a prime area for businesses looking to expand their impact in these fields.
