## Summary

The Middlesbrough Development Corporation has successfully concluded its procurement process to find a development partner for the regeneration of the Gresham site in Middlesbrough. The selected supplier is Tarras Park Properties Limited, awarded a contract valued at over £1.9 million to undertake this significant construction project. The procurement process followed a competitive dialogue method, inviting selective bids from suitably qualified developers. The contract commenced on 19 July 2024 and will run until 18 July 2034. This project falls under the construction industry category, classified with CPV code 45000000, and is situated in the North East region of the United Kingdom. The buyer, Tees Valley Combined Authority, encourages involvement in the transformation at this key entry point to the town from the A66.

This development opportunity is particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) specialising in construction works, offering a chance to partake in the revitalisation of a prominent area within Middlesbrough. Such an undertaking provides substantial business growth potential by allowing firms to showcase their expertise in urban regeneration. The initiative aims to foster a progressive partnership framework, which can include arrangements like joint ventures and development frameworks, offering returns to both parties involved. Businesses adept in strategic planning and innovative urban development would find this an ideal opportunity to broaden their scope and influence in the region.
