## Summary

The Westminster City Council, in collaboration with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, is initiating the Suicide Safer Initiative aimed at promoting mental health awareness and suicide prevention. This tender, identified as an open procurement process with a total budget of £150,000, is classified under health and social work services. The procurement stage is currently active, and the tender period will conclude on 25 October 2021. The service delivery is to be based in London, with the contract expected to commence on 17 January 2022 and continue until 16 January 2025.

This tender presents valuable opportunities for businesses specialised in mental health services, community training, and social work, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs). Companies that can offer innovative training solutions and support mechanisms for suicide prevention would be particularly well-suited to compete. Engaging with this initiative may facilitate networking and collaboration with local authorities, thus aiding business growth and expanding service offerings within the community.
