Existing plant room doors and frames at roof level will be replaced and adjusted to accommodate the increased insulation thickness, mechanical and electrical works will be carried out to the plant rooms on the flat roofs as detailed below. The edge barrier protection will be dismantled, adapted, and reinstated, the lift motor plant room will have bespoke fixed ladder access, gate and edge restraint installed as new. The existing lightning protection system where present on the flat roofs, including the lift plant room as before described will be removed, adapted, reinstated, replaced where required, and tested.
