Its facilities comprise: a nine-hole golf course, driving range, health and fitness facilities, function rooms, bar and catering facilities and a community centre; it has also been the base for a council area office and for the local policing team. It has a large car park and has been the base for several small businesses - car wash, hairdressers, chiropodist etc. The Country Club ceased operating on 1st April 2018, although the Community Centre and a car wash facility remain open. The Council is now working to decide what best to do with the site and, in the interim, has put in place arrangements to keep the site secure and to keep the community centre open for bookings.
