The Contract Period shall be the Initial Term and, if the Initial Term is extended at the discretion of the Authority, shall include the Extended Term. Background: North London Waste Authority (NLWA) is running an extensive waste prevention programme from 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2018 focusing on reducing local authority collected waste in north London. The 2016/18 programme of activity has recently been agreed and will include intensive activity to reduce three priority waste streams: food, furniture and textiles. We are seeking to appoint contractors to complement the work that NLWA will deliver in 2016/17 with potential extension in 2017/18.
