This project, which falls under the services category within the software package and information systems sector, is valued at £19,976. The procurement method adopted for this contract is selective, through a call-off from a framework agreement. The contract period is set to run from 1st October 2019 to 31st January 2020, having completion of the tender period on 20th August 2019. Engaging in this project allows businesses to contribute to valuable social initiatives while potentially expanding their reach and portfolio through collaboration with a prominent public authority. ## Notice In our 2018/19 Business Plan, we committed to developing a searchable online database to track progress on the implementation of the recommendations made to the UK by the United Nations (UN) in order to increase transparency, aid scrutiny and hold the UK and Welsh governments to account on their international human rights obligations. The aim is to trigger increased government action to comply with its international human rights obligations. The tool is fully searchable by responsible government, theme, protected characteristic, treaty body, and also links to the Sustainable Development Goals. It will be a 'one stop shop' for information on treaty monitoring, setting out information on how to engage with the UN, reporting and monitoring cycles. By doing this, we not only aim to enhance the capacity of officials, parliamentarians and Assembly members to engage with UN human rights processes and make use of UN recommendations in their work, but also that of civil society. Phase 1 in the development of this tool is now complete. A demo version of the tool is available to view at http: http://35.176.31.172/. We are now looking to add further content and new features to the tool.
