## Summary

The procurement process is conducted by the AHDB, located at Middlemarch Business Park, Coventry, UK, for the satisfaction surveys of AHDB customers and stakeholders. This contract falls within the "Survey design services" industry category and pertains to locations including the United Kingdom and several British Overseas Territories. The process has reached the award stage, with QA Research Ltd as the supplier, and involves a contract value of £240,000 over five years starting from 15th August 2025. The procurement method utilized is a selective approach via a dynamic purchasing system, crucial for firms monitoring industry performance and ensuring farmer and grower levy payers see returns on their contributions. Key dates include the tender period ending on 9th June 2025 and the award date on 24th June 2025.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for SMEs specialising in survey design and customer insights, supporting businesses looking to expand their services within the agribusiness sector. Companies capable of conducting comprehensive surveys with tailored questions will find this particularly beneficial, as the results form a critical part of AHDB’s evaluation strategy. Engagement in such projects can enhance a company’s portfolio and reputation, providing insights that fuel decision-making processes across various sectors, thus positioning these businesses as valued partners in industry analysis and feedback collection. The awarded contract also signifies business growth potential by solidifying long-term associations with public sector entities.

## Notice

Award of Contract. AHDB intend to commission a Contract to one agency for the provision of Satisfaction Surveys of AHDB customers and stakeholders. Our farmers, growers and processors expect to see a return for the levy they pay, and these surveys form a key part of our evaluation strategy. The Customer Insight Measure (CIM) has taken place annually since 2015, with fieldwork carried out between October and December, we intend for this pattern to continue. The last survey was completed between October and December 2024. The survey allows AHDB to evaluate its performance as one organisation, as well as being able to compare baseline levels between individual sectors. Processor levy payer respondents are asked slightly different recruitment questions to farmer/grower levy payers, given the different nature of their businesses. While the core questions across farmer/grower and processor levy payers remain consistent, the recruitment section varies, so there are some efficiencies in set up and training with the interview team, but they do need to be run as two surveys.
