Specifically, it should ensure that: *The draft Local Plan vision, objectives, policies and proposals (individually and cumulatively) are viable and the plan is deliverable. *The scale and distribution of development identified in the plan is viable and deliverable within the draft Local Plan period, informed by an assessment of market capacity. *The sites/types of sites identified in the plan are viable within the plan period (individually and cumulatively) and determine whether there is potential for further developer contributions to infrastructure (other than that necessary to make the development suitable in planning terms); and/or further contributions to the provision of affordable housing.
