## Summary

This public procurement process, initiated by the Balfour Beatty VINCI Systra JV, concerns the design, construction, and installation of statutory and wayfinding signage for the Old Oak Common Station under the HS2 project. The process, currently at the tender stage, invites proposals for work valued between £250,000 and £500,000, focusing on illuminated signs and nameplates under CPV code 31523000. The project is based in London, UK, with the tender period closing on 28th February 2026, and the contract set to commence from 8th November 2027. The procurement aims to integrate multiple signage elements across various station locations including HS2 platforms and ancillary buildings.

This tender offers a significant opportunity for businesses in the illuminated signage and construction sectors, particularly those with expertise in delivering complex infrastructure projects. It is well-suited for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) looking to expand their foothold in the public sector or railway industry. The evaluation will focus on criteria including Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ), commercial considerations, and methodology for working in a track environment. The chance to be part of a monumental HS2 infrastructure project presents growth potential through increased industry recognition and experience in large-scale public works. Businesses should be prepared to engage with an external ERP system during the submission and evaluation process.
