## Summary

Cambridge City Council is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process for the provision of at least six AQ Mesh Pods. This initiative aims to monitor air quality parameters including nitrogen dioxide, particulates, and carbon dioxide over a duration of at least nine months, supported by funding from Defra. The engagement period closed on 3rd May 2019, and companies interested in participating are encouraged to present their detailed proposals through the Procontract e-tendering portal. Located in Cambridge, East of England, the contract falls under the category of "Machines and apparatus for testing and measuring" as per the CPV classification.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for businesses specialising in environmental monitoring technology and equipment. Companies that can provide air quality monitoring solutions, including setup and maintenance services, as well as data management capabilities, would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. Given the specifications, firms experienced in emission measurement instruments and capable of quick response within 48 hours for any faults would have a competitive advantage, potentially leading to significant business growth in the public sector.

## Notice

Cambridge City Council require a company to provide us with at least 6 AQ Mesh Pods which can monitor nitrogen dioxide, particulates and carbon dioxide for a period of at least 9 months. This is to form part of a trial of a low cost monitoring technology funded for by a Defra grant. The Grant application specified the use of AQ Mesh monitors as the trial would build on the previous trials undertaken in Cambridge of the AQ Mesh technology. We would be looking to hire the instruments with the company able to offer set-up maintenance, data capture and preparation for sharing with the public and other interested parties. The company also needs to be able to respond to any fault notifications within 48 hours If you feel you can provide these goods and services please provide a detailed description of the equipment and how you will provide the services to be no longer than 2 sides of A4, through the Procontract e-tendering portal.
