## Summary

The Birmingham City Council is currently seeking submissions for the "QU550 - Recreational Parks Daily Mile Track Installation and Community Engagement Initiative." This procurement process is focused on the installation of ten Daily Mile tracks in Birmingham, targeting areas with larger populations of ethnically diverse communities and lower levels of physical activity, in alignment with the City of Nature Plan. The tender period is set to conclude at noon on 25th March 2022, and the contract is expected to commence on 18th April 2022, concluding by 31st August 2022. This initiative falls under the health services category, with relevant activities taking place across various parks in Birmingham, outlined in the tender documentation.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses specializing in community health services, physical well-being, and sports-related installations. SMEs (small and medium enterprises) focused on community engagement and interaction with local populations, particularly those with experience in similar projects or within public health domains, would be well-suited to compete. Successful bidders will have the potential to enhance their community footprint while contributing to the improvement of local public health through active participation and engagement strategies.
