The aims of the Domestic Abuse Casework Service are as follows: - Increase the immediate and long-term safety of adults and children at risk due to domestic abuse. - Enable victims to access the range of protection and support services available to them, appropriate to their needs. - Advocate on the Service User's behalf with other statutory and voluntary agencies and within multi-agency procedures including the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC). - Provide domestic abuse support from charge to sentence for victims where cases are being heard at the Specialist Domestic Abuse Court (SDAC).
