This varies in age from thirty to one hundred and fifty years, of both traditional and system built construction and of low, medium and high rise. The properties covered by this tender include approximately 29,000 domestic dwellings and the work categories specified in this tender will supplement and support the existing Sandwell MBC directly employed workforce to achieve the target completion dates. The Contractor shall undertake repairs and maintenance work to tenanted properties, in order to raise the dwelling to an acceptable standard of fit and finish. Typically work will include building and renovation operations. Trades generally required are carpenters, plumbers, bricklayers, plasterers, painters and decorators, labourer's, ground-workers, electricians and gas engineers. However, this list is not exhaustive.
