The Provider will deliver advocacy services in line with the following legislation and Codes of Practice and Guidance: a) Mental Capacity Act 2005, Mental Capacity (Amendment) Act 2019 IMCA - Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy b) Mental Health Act (1983 as amended 2007) IMHA - Independent Mental Health Advocacy c) Care Act 2014 Independent Care Act Advocacy d) Health and Social Care Act 2012, Section 223a Independent NHS Complaints Advocacy e) Care Act 2014, Sections 67 and 68 /The Care and Support (Independent Advocacy) Regulations 2014 Generic (non-statutory) Advocacy
