The rigging of ADE loads and platforms on the Hercules C130J aircraft requires the use of various strengths of Nylon Braided Cord and Elastic Bungees which are used to secure components and elements within the rigging scheme and are wholly consumable products. In addition, Airborne Equipment requires cord usage and threads for first line repair of AFE equipment. The cords are used to support a multitude of other capabilities such as Helicopter Under Slung Load Equipment (HUSLE) and Survival, Evasion, Resistance & Escape (SERE) training (both part of the Air Commodities Delivery Team).
