Due to the expansion of a number of businesses of a similar nature within the Slough Trading Estate, Travis Perkins has agreed to sell the freehold to Slough Borough Council (SBC). The purchase of the land was completed on 16th June 2017 and SBC, along with the partnership of Slough Urban Renewal (SUR), are proposing a development of residential properties on the land. The Slough Basin Warehouse structures will need to be demolished as soon as practically possible. SBC/SUR hope to be in a position to have the area ready for development by early 2018.
