## Summary

This procurement falls within the goods category, specifically personal computers, and is centred in Newcastle, England. The tender period closed on 17 December 2018, with the contract commencing on 19 February 2019 and concluding on 18 February 2021, allowing for potential extension by mutual agreement. This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those experienced in the provision of desktop and portable computer solutions, to engage in a long-term partnership with a reputable educational institution. Companies that are Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or approved resellers aligned with the NDNA Framework will be particularly well-suited to compete, given the specifications outlined in the tender. The focus on creating a sole supplier relationship encourages larger firms capable of fulfilling extensive supply needs, while also allowing SMEs that can demonstrate suitable capabilities to effectively contribute to the university's requirements.
