## Summary

The NHS Sheffield CCG is currently conducting a tender for the "AQP Vasectomy Service (Non-Scalpel)", which falls under the miscellaneous health services category. The procurement process is at the tender stage, with the deadline for submissions set for 18 June 2021. The service aims to provide quality vasectomy procedures using a no scalpel technique within community settings in the Yorkshire and the Humber region. The contract period is scheduled to commence on 1 July 2021 and will last until 30 June 2024. This open procedure is intended to ensure accessibility and encourage participation from diverse service providers, although it does come with commercial risks as no revenue guarantees are offered.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses that specialise in health services, particularly those with experience in community healthcare delivery, outpatient surgical procedures, or men's health services. Companies providing patient-focused care and those that can demonstrate a commitment to best practices and robust governance are likely to be well-suited to compete. This is an excellent opportunity for smaller enterprises, including SMEs, to engage with an established health authority and potentially expand their service offerings within the Sheffield area.
