## Summary

This procurement process, initiated by SE Shared Services, involves the award of a contract for Independent Mental Capacity Act (IMCA) and Non-Instructed Care Act Advocacy services. The contract, valued at £420,000, falls under the health and social work services category and is set to run from 1 April 2018 to 1 April 2020. The tender was published on 31 May 2018, following an open procurement method through an open procedure. This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses in the health and social care sector, particularly those specialising in advocacy services and support for individuals under the Mental Capacity Act. Companies with experience in independent advocacy and a strong understanding of the legal framework surrounding mental capacity will be well-suited to engage in similar contracts, fostering business growth through collaboration with the public sector. This process not only enhances service delivery in Surrey but also opens avenues for qualified suppliers to expand their service offerings within this critical area of social welfare.
