A new section of carriageway approximately 240m in length will be constructed between the roundabout and Blackbushes Road, with the redundant road being perforated and covered in site won topsoil, heathland shrub, and brash. A drainage ditch will be constructed adjacent to the new section of road and a security fence installed along the new highway boundary.
