## Summary

The procurement process concerns the "Treatment & Conditioning Services Framework" initiated by the CTM Portal for the NDA Shared Services Alliance. This contract relates to the management of radioactive waste, covering a range of services including treatment, storage, and disposal. The procurement method followed is an open procedure, with the contract period commencing on 6th July 2022 and extending until 5th November 2026. The tender's estimated value is £41 million, and it includes provisions for organisations that hold or will hold a Waste Services Contract with Nuclear Waste Services. The geographical scope includes the United Kingdom and British Overseas Territories.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities, particularly for companies specialising in radioactive waste management and environmental services. Businesses well-suited to compete include large firms with experience in waste treatment, storage, and disposal. Given the framework is accessible to a broad range of public sector organisations, including NHS bodies, educational institutions, and councils, there is ample scope for suppliers to secure contracts and expand their service offerings in this highly regulated sector.
