## Summary

The British Council is seeking suppliers for the "Developing Inclusive & Creative Economies (DICE) Framework," a pilot programme aimed at fostering economic and social inclusion. This tender is classified under research services, with additional categories including social research and training services. The procurement is currently in the Tender stage, with a submission deadline set for 19th December 2019. The contract period is expected to commence on 17th February 2020 and conclude on 31st March 2021. The scope of work encompasses a variety of locations, including the UK and beyond, and follows an open procurement method, allowing for broad participation.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) that specialise in research, training, and social inclusion projects. Organisations with experience in addressing issues of economic exclusion, particularly those focusing on marginalised groups such as women and young people, will be well-positioned to compete for this contract. By engaging with the DICE programme, businesses can contribute to impactful community initiatives while expanding their own capabilities and reach.

## Notice

Developing Inclusive and Creative Economies (DICE) is a pilot programme that takes a holistic approach to addressing entrenched issues of economic and social exclusion. DICE supports a growing network of individuals, enterprises, and institutions in exploring how creativity, generosity, unconscious bias, vulnerability and human connection affect how we, as humans, can best nurture our curiosity, creativity, communities, enterprises, policies, ideas and the environments in which we live. In recognising the complexity of our problems, and by working across borders, sectors, silos, networks, and generations, we hope that DICE can contribute to eradicating barriers to economic opportunity for all. Currently in its pilot phase, DICE takes an 'ecosystem' approach to nurturing economic inclusion, with a focus on women and girls, young people, disabled people and other often excluded groups. DICE is delivered by an interdisciplinary and inspired group of colleagues and change-makers in Brazil, Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan, South Africa and the UK. Please note the scope of the DICE framework may change in the future, this will be communicated to framework suppliers in advance of a decision being made.
