## Notice

The Coal Authority (Client) invites you to tender for a Media Monitoring System. The Coal Authority was established by Parliament to undertake specific statutory duties, set out in the Coal Industry Act 1994, associated with licensing coal mining operations; managing property and the historic legacy arising from the ownership of the coal reserves and underground workings; settling subsidence damage claims not falling on coal mine operators and providing access to coal mining information. A media monitoring/management service is required by the Coal Authority to understand where the organisation is being referenced in the media and on social media. This information is reported back into the business enabling us to remain ahead of where we are being mentioned and to identify areas of interest, should we become involved in the coverage at a later date.
