## Summary

The NHS Supply Chain is currently in the planning stage for a procurement process titled "Sexual Health and Associated products." This tender falls under the category of miscellaneous medical devices and products, with an expected initial expenditure ranging from £12,620,000 to £15,800,000. The engagement end date is set for 13th March 2020, marking the deadline for interested parties to get involved in the early engagement process. This procurement will extend to various locations including the United Kingdom, British Overseas Territories, and across Europe.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) looking to expand their market presence in the healthcare sector. Companies with certifications such as ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent in the relevant fields will be well-positioned to compete when the invitation to tender is formally issued. The NHS Supply Chain also encourages potential suppliers to provide discounted pricing and bulk buy initiatives, which could be advantageous for businesses willing to engage strategically in this market.

The Framework Agreement between NHS Supply Chain and successful suppliers will reserve the right to purchase the same or similar supplies and/or services from suppliers not appointed to the Framework Agreement at its sole discretion. Whilst it is anticipated that initial expenditure under any forthcoming procurement will be in the region of 12 620 000 GBP to 15 800 000 GBP for this contract award, this is approximate only and the values will be to such level as those purchasing under the Framework Agreement consider necessary to provide suitable requirements.
