## Summary

NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit, on behalf of NHS Hardwick Clinical Commissioning Group, is initiating expressions of interest for the delivery of Improving Access to Psychological Therapy (IAPT) services across Derbyshire. This procurement is currently in the planning stage, with a critical engagement deadline set for 18th February 2019 at 12pm. The services will cover the East Midlands region and are classified under miscellaneous health services (CPV code: 85140000). The current contract is due to expire on 31st March 2020, and the authority seeks to refine its commissioning approach based on market engagement feedback to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses operating in the healthcare sector, particularly those with expertise in mental health services. Providers that can deliver IAPT services within a consortium or primary-subcontractor model may find this a fitting opportunity to consolidate their capabilities. By responding to this market engagement exercise, businesses can position themselves for future contracts that aim to improve access and quality of psychological therapies across Derbyshire, ultimately contributing to community health and wellness initiatives.
