The facility will primarily be supporting sterilization and 'media' preparation facility for world class research institute. The existing facility primarily has two steam fed autoclaves and two steam fed dish washers and supporting ancillaries. The project will increase capacity and capability to support a sustainable media facility for a world class Biotechnology institute. The project is expected to deliver 3 new autoclaves and support up to 4 dish washers (two existing dish washers and two newly procured dish washers). A combination of steam/powered systems can be used as part of the solution to provide a robust operational facility for years to come. The project period is expected to run through the first half of 2020 with a temporary facility being located near to the MIB facility (The Masdar Building). The temporary facility will have one of the three autoclaves and two dish washers with supporting steam generators.
