## Summary

The Ministry of Defence has conducted a procurement process titled "Pakistan Equipment Support Solution," aimed at providing an Equipment Support solution for Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) equipment gifted to the Government of Pakistan. This procurement falls under the services category and includes a contract valued at £1,294,713.46, which commenced on 1st January 2020 and is set to conclude on 3rd January 2022. The procurement method utilised was selective, specifically a call-off from a dynamic purchasing system. This contract represents the first awarded by the Counter-Explosive Ordnance Defence Engagement (CEDE) Office, which was established in December 2018 to facilitate international support against explosive ordnance threats.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in equipment support, training, and related services, especially those that are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The Ministry of Defence encourages UK suppliers to engage in this burgeoning market by registering on the CEDE Dynamic Procurement System. Companies with relevant capabilities are particularly suited to compete, given the focus on forming sustainable integrated logistic support programmes globally and the ongoing need for counter-explosive ordnance services. Access to this framework can aid in expanding business reach and enhance partnerships with the UK government and international allies.
